In Guru Nanak Public School we celebrate all festival as well as special days with zeal as there is always a new lesson behind these different celebrations, we have celebrated:-
1. FIRST DAY OF THE SESSION 2024-25
The new academic session 2024-25 of Guru Nanak Public School commenced on 1st April, 2024. Teachers offered prayer to the almighty god. They extended their greetings to the students on the beginning of new session with a motivational and inspiring song with a message.
They shine like a sun and spread the light of hope in the world. The principal Mrs. Namrata with her words of wisdom motivated the students to work hard to accomplish their task.
Students were indeed exhilarating and regenerated to see the affection of the teachers towards them. It was surely a meaningful and significant assembly.
2. EARTH DAY CELEBRATION (22-04-2024) 2024-25
They shine like a sun and spread the light of hope in the world. The principal Mrs. Namrata with her words of wisdom motivated the students to work hard to accomplish their task.
Students were indeed exhilarating and regenerated to see the affection of the teachers towards them. It was surely a meaningful and significant assembly.
2. EARTH DAY CELEBRATION (22-04-2024) 2024-25
On 22April, Earth Day 2024 school has conducted poster making competition for classes I to V.
Students enjoyed a lot. They made different poster on how to save environment. The purpose of conducting this competition was to create awareness about how they can save earth or environment.
The Pre-Primary students also participated with zeal and enthusiasm by watering the plants.
3. INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY: 21 JUNE, 2024 (2024 – 2025)
June 21st is celebrated as International Day of Yoga all over the world. International Yoga Day was celebrated by the teachers at Guru Nanak Public School, Badgaon Kota with great enthusiasm.
Warm up exercises and asanas were taken and everyone performed it very well, importance of these asanas were explained simultaneously. A short note was given and the celebration concluded with a short note given by our Principal. She encouraged everyone to practice Yoga to remain fit and improve concentration for better life.
4. INVESTITURE CEREMONY : 31, July 2024 (2024-25)
The investiture ceremony for the academic session 2024-2025 ,was held with great pride and dignity at Guru Nanak Public School.
The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by the house masters and other dignitaries.The active members of different houses such as Ajeet house, Guru Gobind House , Harkishan House, and Tagore House were also the part of the ceremony. The elected Head Girl (Miss jagriti from class IX Arts ) and Head Boy (Master Princepal Singh ) introduced themselves and they were also conferred with sashes and badges by principal Madam.
The principal Mrs Namrata Cocasse appreciated them, and extend a supporting hand to the student council for smooth running of the school. In the end The Head Boy ( Princepal Pal Singh ) From XII and Head Girl ( Miss Jagriti) from class XI along with elected members took oath to hold motto sincerity and honesty.
The principal (Mrs Namrata Cocasse) delievered the vote of thanks and the event concluded with National Anthem
5. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION:- 15 August, 2024 (2024-25)
78th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at Guru Nanak Public School. The program started with the Flag Hoisting by the Chairman of the school Baba Lakhwinder Singh ji and was followed by the National Anthem.
Ms Urmila Mewara delivered the speech highlighting the idea of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Ms Prachi Agarwal shared the importance of the occasion.
In the series of cultural events class fourth and fifth presented the dance of Unity "Aawaj do hum ek hai", class seventh and eighth presented Bhangra and class ninth and eleventh presented contemporary dance.
On this auspicious occasion Gyani Gurnam Singh ji Ambalvi threw light on the historic background of Independence war and motivated the students to be honest and truthful and should be dedicated towards their duties. Prize distributed to the students who are the best performer in academic in session 2023-24. Principal Namrata Cocasse highlighted the history of our National Flag and administrative officer thanked the venerable guest for being present at the celebration. At the end, sweets were distributed.
6. ‘Swachchata Hi Sewa’:- 02 October, 2024 (2024-25)
Guru Nanak Public School, Kota mobilized all students to undertake “ Swachhata Hi Seva (2024-25) ” by collecting waste in the school campus. Campaigns are run for the awareness related to ‘Cleanliness’.
Students along with their teachers had taken out a rally. Slogans were displayed and spelt out. Students moved along with banners and spoke to the general public about the ill effects of waste. The logo of ‘Swachchata Hi Sewa’ was also displayed in the front line.
School had been conducting such drives in the past too. We promise to continue this campaign and support the Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan.
7. ‘First position in Solo Singing Competition’:- 02 October, 2024 (2024-25)
Guru Nanak Public School, run by Guru Nanak Welfare Trust, Bundi Road, Badgaon, participated in the junior and senior category of solo singing competition organized by Kota Sahodaya School Complex.
Schools under Kota Sahodaya School Complex participated in this competition. This competition was organized at the Modern School located in Naya Nohra. In this competition, in the junior category, Abhay Singh Jadawat, student of Guru Nanak Public School, performed best in the competition and got the first position.
On this occasion, Chairman of the school Baba Lakha Singh Ji, Vice Chairman Baba Balwinder Singh Ji, Manager Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Ji Bath and Principal of the school Mrs. Namrata Cocasse congratulated the student Abhay Singh Jadawat and wished him a bright future.
In the sad demise of Shri Ratan Tata, India has lost an icon who blended corporate growth with nation building, and excellence with ethics. A recipient of Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan, he took forward the great Tata legacy and gave it a more impressive global presence”.
