1Beginning of New Academic Session-  4th April, 2023 (2023-24)
The new school year brings newer opportunity to shine.
The beginning of the new session is an auspicious time. The new session (2023-24) of Guru Nanak Public School began from 4th April 2023, the students were excited to come back to school. The first day started with the prayer to the almighty. Teachers extended their greetings to the students on the beginning of new session with a motivational and inspiring message.

2. Baisakhi Celebration - 12th April, 2023. (2023-24)
Guru Nanak Public School, Badgaon, Bundi Road, Kota celebrated the Baisakhi festival with enthusiasm on 12 April, 2023. On this occasion senior students gave speech on Baisakhi celebration during the assembly in the morning. They explained about the importance of celebrating this festival.
The children of the primary wing dressed themselves in colourful Punjabi attires. The best three well dressed students from each class were selected.

3. Earth Day Celebration –  22nd April, 2023. (2023-24)
Guru Nanak Public School, Badgaon, Bundi Road, Kota celebrated the Earth Day through a series of activities on 22nd April, 2023.
The teachers spread awareness among students about how and why we should conserve our Mother Nature.

The students decorated their classes on the theme of our Mother Earth. They also brought plants of different kinds and planted them in front of their respective classes.
The festival was celebrated with very enthusiasm.

4. International Yoga Day: 21 June, 2023 (2023 – 2024)

June 21st is celebrated as International Day of Yoga all over the world. This idea was proposed by our PM, Mr. Narendra Modi. He said, “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition, it embodies unity of mind and body etc.”
 

            International Yoga Day was celebrated by the teachers at Guru Nanak Public School, Badgaon Kota with great enthusiasm. Warm up exercises and asanas were taken and everyone performed it very well, importance of these asanas were explained simultaneously. A short note was given and the celebration concluded with a short note given by our Principal. She encouraged everyone to practice Yoga to remain fit and improve concentration for better life.

5. INVESTITURE CEREMONY : 12, August, 2023 (2023-24)
On 12th  August, 2023, a pious ceremony of oath taking in the presence of students and teachers has been conducted in our school.

In this our respected principal Mrs. Namrata Cocasse administered the oath to the newly elected representatives or student cabinet to carry out their duties and responsibilities which are entrusted to them with honestly, courage and conviction. Principal honoured Head Boy Head Girl, Captains of each house by offering them their insignia. Head Boy and Head Girl shared their views with the students on this special day. At last principal ma’am congratulated the whole cabinet and advised them to work in cooperation and as a team.

6. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION : 15, August, 2023 (2023-24)

Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and joy at Guru Nanak Public School, Badgaon, Kota.  Programme began with the auspicious unfurling of the tricolor by the chairman of the school Baba Lakhwinder Singh Ji. National Anthem was sung at this pious moment.
Hindi teacher and renowned poet Mr. Parmanand Dadhich presented a patriotic poem in the honour of our great soldiers, who are the fearless defenders of freedom. Hearing the poem, each and every heart was filled with patriotism.


One of the trustee members Sardar Harbhajan Singh Ji gave a heartwarming speech. Through his speech, he gave guidelines about how to face the problems of today’s lifestyle.
The principal Mrs. Namrata gave an informative speech, she stressed on being an ideal teacher and its role in nation building. After congratulating all on 75th Independence Day celebration, she thanked the venerable guest for being present at the celebration.
At the end, sweets were distributed.       

7. Inspire Award Manak competition. (2023-24)
It is said that "Key to success is discovering  your innate power  and using it daily "

Harshit Sharma of class IX proved it right as he brought Laural  to the school and his family by  represented GNPS at National  level in Inspire Award Manak competition. He designed a model of Chalk Dust Free Suction Pump and proved that he can do small things in a great way.
